Liang Hong
is a Professional Engineer (Chemical) with over 15 years of experience in
chemical process safety, specialising in Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA),
Process Safety Management, and Safety Case development.
Trained as
a chemical engineer, he currently serves as a Principal Specialist with the
Major Hazards Department at the Ministry of Manpower, where he oversees the
Safety Case regime for Major Hazard Installations in Singapore. In addition to
his regulatory role, he holds an appointment as Adjunct Assistant Professor in
the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the National
University of Singapore.
